Gastro No-Go
According to the papers today, the refit of the Warrington Hotel is scheduled to start in the new year. Oh, and we can't call it a gastropub.

I'm so sorry that Gordon Ramsay's got his hands on the Warrington. It's such a lovely traditional pub and I dread to think what his £6m will do to it. Maybe a few overpaid people will flock to it from neighbouring areas but I doubt the locals will go there again.
I have to say I agree - but hopefully the 'gastro' bans means that the pub won't be changed too much and local residents will still want to go!
