Focusing on Paddington Rec

On Saturday morning, we welcomed our colleague, Cllr Daniel Astaire, to Paddington Rec, who is the Cabinet Member with responsibility for leisure and sport.

We asked Daniel to come along to see the recent improvements made to the Rec, and to meet with one of the many local residents who care deeply about the future of our park.

We had a very useful discussion about how the Council can continue to support the staff in the Rec and how we can continue to deliver benefits for users and Maida Vale residents. We were also able to identify a number of small issues regarding lighting and paving, which the Council is urgently looking to rectify.
