Essendine School meet the Lord Mayor
The Lord Mayor of Westminster, Cllr Carolyn Keen, invited children from Essendine Primary Schoolup to City Hall for tea and a tour of the treasures in the plate room on Thursday.
Together with 4 of their teachers they spent time enjoying the tea, admiring the view and spotting landmarks. The pupils also spent around 40 minutesdiscussing the role of the Lord Mayor with her and hearing some of the history of Westminster. We're very grateful to the Lord Mayor for showing support for the terrific primary schools in our area.
