Water burst in Maida Vale
Major water leak in Maida Vale and Little Venice this morning, as a Thames main burst on the Edgware Road-St. John's Wood Road junction.
Diversions are in place but some basement flats have been flooded. Water pressure is also down around the area.
At 10.30 we were told that the burst would be isolated and shutdown by 12, followed by an additional 2 hours which would be needed to drain the main and the area.
And it's causing traffic chaos - Edgware Road/Maida Vale is closed between Blomfield Road and Hall Road, along with the entirety of Clifton Gardens and Clifton Road.
We'll let you know if we get any more details.
